Aisle Planner alternative: HoneyBook and MyWedding Pro compared
Searching for an Aisle Planner alternative, or a HoneyBook alternative for wedding planners? One thing first, because it saves time: these three tools don’t do the same job. Aisle Planner and HoneyBook both cover the sales side of a planning business (proposals, contracts, invoices, payments). MyWedding Pro doesn’t. It runs the wedding itself, and your couple’s access is included.
This page says what each one does as of October 2026, what Aisle Planner and HoneyBook do better than we do, and who should pick which. Aisle Planner and HoneyBook are trademarks of their respective owners. MyWedding Planner isn’t affiliated with either one.
The short answer
Aisle Planner presents itself as one platform for selling and planning events. HoneyBook presents itself as client relationship software for small businesses of many kinds, event professionals among them. MyWedding Pro is wedding planning software and nothing else.
If you want selling and planning behind one login, Aisle Planner is built for that, and MyWedding Pro isn’t a substitute. If you already sell with HoneyBook or another CRM and need the wedding side, that’s the gap MyWedding Pro is made for. If you use Aisle Planner mostly for its planning tools, that half is where MyWedding Pro is a real alternative.
How this page was checked
Every fact about Aisle Planner and HoneyBook below comes from their own websites, read on October 5, 2026: the home pages, the pricing pages, and, for Aisle Planner, its client portal and project management pages. Anything we couldn’t confirm there isn’t on this page.
We leave their prices out on purpose. Both companies adjust plans and run promotions, so a number printed today could be wrong tomorrow. Check their pricing pages, linked under Sources at the bottom of the page.
What Aisle Planner does, as of October 2026
Aisle Planner’s site calls the product Aisle Planner Pro and describes it as software for event professionals: planners, but also caterers, venues, florists, and photographers. It lists six product areas: revenue and sales, payments and profit, an event planning suite, project management, lead management, and a client portal.
Plans are priced by the number of active projects. The entry plan, Sales Essentials, covers the sales tools (lead management, proposals and interactive quotes, contracts and e-signatures, invoicing and online payments) and states that it doesn’t include project management tools. The plans above it add the planning side: a client portal, checklists, timelines, budgets, vendor and file management, guest management and messaging, layouts and seating, and an event website with online RSVP. Every plan lists unlimited users and custom branding.
Billing is monthly, with a discount for paying annually. Aisle Planner offers a free 30-day trial and says a credit card is required to start it. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime, and the pricing page notes that sales tax may apply. For more than 100 active projects, you’re asked to contact support.
In the client portal, a client sees only the tasks, appointments, and reminders assigned to them, on a dashboard behind a login you can brand as your own.
What HoneyBook does, as of October 2026
HoneyBook describes its product as AI-powered client relationship software for creatives, consultants, marketers, event professionals, and more. Planners, venues, florists, and photographers are among the event professionals it names. It isn’t wedding-specific software.
What it covers: a CRM with a pipeline, lead forms, proposals, contracts, invoices, payments, a scheduler, automations, tasks, a client portal, and an AI assistant. Its pricing page lists three plans, billed monthly or yearly, with unlimited clients and projects on every plan. The plans differ in features, number of lead forms, and team members. Payments run through HoneyBook, which charges processing fees on top of the plan price.
HoneyBook lists a free 30-day trial with no credit card required. It says you can cancel anytime from your company settings, and it advertises a 60-day money-back guarantee.
For wedding-specific work, the feature comparison on its pricing page doesn’t list a guest list, RSVP tracking, a seating chart, or a day-of timeline builder. It does list an integration with a third-party floor plan tool, Prismm.
What Aisle Planner and HoneyBook do better than MyWedding Pro
Start here, before you compare anything else. Selling isn’t something MyWedding Pro does: no proposals, no contracts, no invoices, no payment collection from your clients, no lead tracking. Both tools above do all of that. If you need those, you need a tool like them, with or without us.
Aisle Planner also puts selling and planning behind one login. That’s a real advantage over running two tools, and MyWedding Pro doesn’t offer it.
Aisle Planner’s client portal shows each client only the tasks, appointments, and reminders assigned to them. In MyWedding Pro, your couple sees the whole project, budget included, and there’s no setting to hide a module or a line. If you add a markup to vendor costs, that matters: you’d track the markup in your own quoting or accounting tool and put only the amount the couple should see into the project.
Aisle Planner lists guest management and messaging. MyWedding Pro doesn’t send emails or texts to your couple’s guests. The couple shares the link to their wedding website, guests reply online, and the replies fill in the guest list.
What MyWedding Pro does differently
MyWedding Pro gives you one project per wedding, with guests and RSVPs, budget, seating chart, checklist, day-of timeline, vendors, and a wedding website for your couple’s guests. The seating chart is printable. Your task and budget templates can be saved and reused on each new project.
Two choices shape the rest. First, one subscription covers unlimited weddings: there are no tiers based on how many projects are active. Second, your couples’ access is included in every case, at no cost to them. They see the full project, not a stripped-down view, and they never see a sales prompt from MyWedding Planner.
The trial lasts 14 days. A card is required to start it, and nothing is charged during the trial. There’s no commitment. If you cancel, your projects switch to read-only: nothing is deleted, and subscribing again restores editing. The details are on the MyWedding Pro page.
Which one fits your business
- You want selling and planning in one login. Aisle Planner is built for that. MyWedding Pro isn’t a substitute.
- You sell with HoneyBook or another CRM and need wedding tools. HoneyBook’s feature list doesn’t name the wedding-day tools above, so a separate planning tool fills that gap. MyWedding Pro is one option, and the two run side by side as separate tools.
- You use Aisle Planner mainly for planning, and your number of active projects sets your plan. MyWedding Pro is one subscription, however many weddings you run. If you use Aisle Planner’s sales tools, you’d need another tool for those.
- You’re just starting out. You may not need any of the three yet. See our tools for new wedding planners, or the wider guide to wedding planner software.
Moving projects over
MyWedding Pro doesn’t import projects from other tools. You create each project yourself, and your saved task and budget templates carry most of the setup. A wedding already in progress can stay where it is: a common approach is to start with your next wedding rather than move one mid-planning.

Frequently asked questions
Is MyWedding Pro a replacement for Aisle Planner?
Only for the planning half. MyWedding Pro covers the wedding itself (guests, budget, seating chart, checklist, day-of timeline, vendors, and a wedding website) and gives your couples access. It doesn’t do proposals, contracts, invoices, or payments, which Aisle Planner lists among its tools.
Is MyWedding Pro a HoneyBook alternative?
Not for the business side. HoneyBook handles clients, proposals, contracts, invoices, and payments, and MyWedding Pro doesn’t. They do different jobs, so you can use them side by side.
Do my couples pay for access to MyWedding Pro?
No. Each couple’s access is included in your subscription, however many weddings you run.
Does MyWedding Pro charge per wedding?
No. One subscription covers unlimited weddings, with no tiers based on active projects.
Can I import my projects from Aisle Planner or HoneyBook?
No. MyWedding Pro doesn’t import projects from other tools. You create each project yourself, and your saved task and budget templates carry most of the setup.
What happens to my projects if I cancel MyWedding Pro?
They switch to read-only. Nothing is deleted, the wedding website stays online for your couple’s guests, and subscribing again restores editing.
Where can I check Aisle Planner’s and HoneyBook’s current prices?
On their own pricing pages, linked under Sources below. We don’t print their prices here because both companies change plans and run promotions.
